SubmissionsPeer Review ProcessThe Canadian Journal of Midwifery Research and Practice has the following editorial process for peer reviewed articles: Research articles, literature reviews, abstracts, case reports, and articles presenting clinical management strategies will be assessed through the peer review process. Articles submitted to the CJMRP will be forwarded to a peer reviewer. The peer reviewer will assess the article for originality, clarity, accuracy, and relevance to midwives. They will provide comments, anonymously, to the author. These comments will be forwarded to the author for consideration. If warranted, a CJMRP editor may be assigned to assist with grammar and other aspects of composition. The author retains the right to final approval before publication. News and information articles, members' news, book, video and DVD reviews, art work and poetry, midwifery education updates and letters to the editor will be reviewed by the CJMRP editor for suitability. An editor may be assigned to assist in the completion of the article for publication. Writers are encouraged to review any editing suggestions and to work with a CJMRP editor, if necessary, to complete any changes and to give final approval to the revised article.
